Synopsis : La déesse Hippolyta et les femmes de Themyscira sont en conflit avec les hommes. Mais les femmes gagnèrent le combat, et Hippolyta coupa la tête du fils d'Arès. Zeus et Héra apparurent à la Reine des amazones pour qu'elle épargne la vie d'Arès. En échange, elle et ses femmes recevront une île pour y vivre sans les hommes. Cependant, pour avoir des enfants, elles feront désormais appel à Zeus. Après avoir construit leur cité, Hippolyta se rendit donc sur la plage pour y avoir une enfant : Diana.
